    In 1984, South Pacific was the Champion Stallion of the North American Holsteiner Breeding Program. In 1994 he won the $20,000 ESSO Grand Prix at Spruce Meadows and placed in 16 other National and International jumping competitions.

    South Pacific is currently ranked as a Leading Sire by the United States Equestrian Federation for 2012. His sons and daughters have won and consistently placed in all levels of jumper competitions, Hunter Divisions and the International Jumper Futurity. His progeny include currently National and International Grand Prix winners, South Shore, Southern Cross and Southern Pride, who competed in the 2010 FEI World Cup in Geneva, Switzerland.

    South Pacific ranked fourth in 2002 and 1st Place in 2006 and 2009 for the South Pacific Memorial Award. The South Pacific Memorial Award recognizes the top ranked U.S.-based sire of show jumpers and was created by Joan Irvine Smith of The Oaks, in memory of her flagship stallion South Pacific.
